What started as a part-time avenue as supplemental income has grown to have farmers and homesteaders in the United States and Canada offering Rent The Chicken as an extension of their farm. Rent The Chicken offers two unique experiences for its customers – renting egg-laying hens and hatching half-a dozen chicks.
A rental period of six months includes egg laying hens, feed, feed & water dishes, delivery, pick-up, and a portable coop in Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsyvania, South Carolina, Washington DC, Toronto ON, and Prince Edward Island. Hatch The Chicken is also available for a five week rental period with three weeks for the incubator and two weeks to enjoy baby chicks in Arizona, Western Pennsylvania, and Toronto ON.
