On the morning of April 23, 2023, the event of making a map of Vietnam and singing the national anthem, the student song officially took place under the witness and recognition of the representative of the Vietnam Record Organization – VietKings.

The event is also organized to strengthen the connection between the University Youth Union, the union members, and students, by providing them with the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities, create a learning space, exchange and convey positive messages to the community, and spread patriotism and sovereignty over the sea and islands to Union members and students.

After the formation was finished, everyone turned to the national flag to execute the flag-raising ceremony and sang the National Anthem and the Student Song.

The representative of VietKings’s Record Supervision Board recorded that 5,223 students participated in the event to set a Vietnam Record:

The event of building a human image of a map of Vietnam and singing the National Anthem, the Student Song, with the most students participating, in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Reunification Day (30th April 1975 – 30th April 2025).

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Quynh Ngoc – General Secretary of Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) announced the Decision to set a Vietnam Record.

Mr. Tran Hoang – Chairman of Vietnam Marketing Association, Permanent member of Vietnam Record Setting Council, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh – Deputy General Manager of Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings), and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Quynh Ngoc jointly presented the Vietnam Record certification to the representative of HCMUTE.
