Jungkook released a new digital single – ‘Seven’ featuring Latto on July 14, 2023, at 1 pm KST as his official solo debut. The song breaks the record by climbing to the top of the U.S. iTunes charts in just under 1 hour and 6 minutes after its release.

With this, Jung Kook has beaten BTS’s ‘Take Two’ as the fastest K-Pop artist to reach no. 1. The song also topped the domestic charts, including Melon’s Top 100 and the real-time charts on Bugs and Genie.

More than 100 nations across the world have already ranked ‘Seven’ as their top iTunes song. Both the Clean and Explicit versions of the song are chart toppers. According to the Twitter report by BTS Charts & Translations, both songs have quickly risen to the top of the charts and are ruling at positions 1 and 2.

In addition, Seven’s Music Video (MV) broke a new milestone with its unprecedented success, gaining two million likes on YouTube in only 1 hour and 58 minutes. As a result of this record-breaking achievement, Jungkook is now officially the quickest K-pop soloist to reach this landmark. Recent figures show that the MV has racked up over 36 million views on YouTube.
