The Vietnam Records Organization has formally proposed to the World Records Institute (WorldMark) and the USA Records Organization (USKings) beginning the Journey to nominate TOP 100 best-selling OCOP-certified items in Vietnam 2023 with the purpose of enhancing the image of the nation and the Vietnamese people not only through record values but also through other distinctive qualities. Due to this journey, foreign buyers will have comprehensive and close access to Vietnam’s distinctive values.

Quang Phu Organic Agriculture Forestry and Fishery Cooperative’s orange and tangerine plantations are located in Phu Thuan hamlet, Quang Phu commune, Krong No District, in the so-called volcano region, which has the harshest environment in Dak Nong. Many visitors have been impressed by the dark green fruitful orchards, which are grown from the region’s high potential edaphic and temperature factors and produce glossy bright yellow oranges with a unique sweet taste.
Quang Phu Organic Agriculture Forestry and Fishery Cooperative, also called “EcoDak – Volcanic Specialities”, is an organic agricultural production co-operative that operates and distributes organically certified agricultural products in Vietnam. To safeguard the natural habitat, the cooperative has agreed to a rigorous policy of abandoning pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and genetically modified organisms and only using microbial organic fertilizer and natural insecticides. Quang Phu Co-operative harvests 100 tons of oranges and over 50 tons of sugar tangerines on average each year. Most of Quang Phu Co-operative’s products are consumed via its two biggest partners, Kata Company from Japan and the “Bác Tôm” store chain.
The journey to nominate and promote the TOP-BEST best-selling OCOP-certified products in 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam is one of the projects implemented under the strategic alliance between the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings), the USA Records Organization (USKings) and the World Records Institute (WorldMark), with the goal of propagating and promoting the record values of countries worldwide.
