1. The Country Club (Brookline, MA)

One of the oldest country clubs in the United States. The clubhouse facilities are old but very charming and full of history. It holds an important place in golf history, since it is one of the five charter clubs that founded the US Golf Association. 

2. Winged Foot Golf Club (Mamaroneck, New York)

The Winged Foot Golf Club is designed by A. W. Tillinghast, who also designed Baltusrol, Bethpage Black, Cedar Crest Park, and many other courses. It was founded in 1921 by a consortium consisting mainly of members of the New York Athletic Club.

3. Shinnecock Hills Golf Club (Southampton, NY)

The Shinnecock Hills Golf Club is a links-style golf club and it has hosted US Open for four times in three different centuries. It is also scheduled to host again in 2018. 

4. Oakmont Country Club (Pittsburg, PA)

The Oakmont  country club is the oldest top ranked golf course in the US. It was designed by Henry Fownes in 1903. 

5. Kiawah Island Ocean Course (Kiawah Island, CA)

The Kiawah Island Ocean Course is one of the five golf courses added in 1991. The golf courses have hosted major golf tournaments, including the Ryder Cup, in 1991, the World Cup in 1997, and the PGA Championship in 2012. 
 

6. Augusta National Golf Club (Augusta, GA)

It was founded by Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts. It opened for play in January 1933 and it has hosted Masters annually since 1934. 

7. PSeminole Golf Course (Juno Beach, FL)

PSeminole Golf Course is a small golf course with only 6,863 yards. 

8. Cypress Point Club (Monterrey, CA)

Cypress Point Club is a private golf club in California. It is a single 18 hole course, with 16th hole in one of the most famous points in golf course, over the Pacific Ocean. 

9. Pebble Beach Golf Links (Pebble Beach, CA)

Pebble Beach Golf Links is a links golf course on the west coast of the US. With incredible views of Carmel Bay and the Pacific this golf course is one of the most beautiful courses in the world.

10. Pacific Dunes (Bandon, Oregon) 

Pacific Dunes is a complex of four links and a par 3 golf course, located just north of the city of Bandon, Oregon. It was founded in 1999 and was designed by Scotsman David McLay Kidd.
