Häagen-Dazs is an American ice cream brand, established by Reuben and Rose Mattus in The Bronx, New York, in 1960. Starting with only three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and coffee, the company opened its first retail store in Brooklyn, New York, on November 15, 1976. The company operates worldwide and also produces ice cream bars, ice cream cakes, sorbet, frozen yogurt, and gelato.

1992 – The Haagen-Dazs entered Italy China Taiwan and Iceland.
1993 – Fans of fruit rejoice with the launch of Häagen-Dazs® Sorbet.
1996 – The Haagen-Dazs in mainland China, Shanghai opened the first ice cream dessert, all the rage.
1997 – The Haagen-Dazs landing Philippines and Brazil.
1998 – The Haagen-Dazs grand debut in Beijing, Shanghai flagship store on Huaihai Road shine .
1999 – The Haagen-Dazs landing West Lake in Hangzhou, Beijing second store in the World Trade Center
2000 – With the opening of the first store in Guangzhou, southern China Dazs entered the market.
2001 – The Haagen-Dazs became the General Mills brands.
2004 – Haagen reached more than forty stores in China, the rapid spread of sweet flavor.
2013 – Häagen-Dazs® falls in love with the creamy texture of gelato. Inspired, we set out to make our own version, bringing a little Italian flair to the freezer.
