William P. Hobby Airport (colloquially referred to as Hobby Airport, Houston Hobby, or simply Hobby) is an international airport in Houston, Texas. Hobby was initially closed after the opening of Houston Intercontinental; however, it was re-opened after several years, and became a secondary airport for domestic airline service, and a center for corporate and private aviation.

The William P. Hobby Airport covers 1,304 acres (528 ha), and has three runways. Houston Hobby is an operating base for Southwest Airlines, which has international and domestic flights from HOU, and carries the vast majority of its passengers.

According to the press release, Hobby was the first and only 5-star Skytrax airport in North America in 2022 and kept the status in 2023. The airport is among 18 others in the world to have a 5-Star Skytrax rating while Bush Airport maintains its 4-Star Skytrax rating for a sixth consecutive year.
