Seattle–Tacoma International Airport, branded as SEA Airport and also referred to as Sea–Tac, is the primary commercial airport serving the Seattle metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Washington. The entire airport covers an area of 2,500 acres (3.9 sq mi; 10 km2). The airport has flights to cities throughout North America, Oceania, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. As of 2022, 31 airlines operate at SEA, serving 91 domestic and 28 international destinations.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) has been named Skytrax’s Best Airport in North America for 2023. This is Seattle-Tacoma’s second year in a row winning the award. Seattle-Tacoma also earned a position in the Top 20 Best Airports in the World and landed second place for Cleanest Airport in North America, right behind Vancouver International Airport.

SEA continues to focus on a suite of improvements that make the airport experience less stressful and more predictable. That includes beautifully modernized spaces such as new dining and retail options in the N Concourse, the fully renovated and expanded Central Terminal, and the International Arrivals Facility.

SEA is currently certified with Skytrax’s prestigious 4-Star Airport Rating. It is only the second large hub U.S. airport (serving 40 million or more passengers per year) to be recognized at the 4-Star Rating level.
