Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation (informally Booz Allen) is the parent of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., American management and information technology consulting firm, headquartered in McLean, Virginia, in Greater Washington, D.C., with 80 other offices around the globe. The company’s stated core business is to provide consulting, analysis and engineering services to public and private sector organizations and nonprofits.

Booz Allen’s efforts to celebrate and women’s values were recognized by Forbes for the first time, which named the firm to its list of America’s Best Employers for Women 2021.

This is just one of Forbes’ many recognitions for Booz Allen. The firm has also been on lists including Best Employers for Diversity, Best Management Consulting Firms, and World’s Most Admired Companies (for the seventh year in a row) and ranked highly among Military.com’s Best Companies for Veterans list for the past four consecutive years.

“Our differences lead to unique ways of thinking and approaching challenges—something we truly value as a diverse community of problem solvers,” said Booz Allen Diversity and Inclusion Lead Cheryl Wade. “This recognition affirms the impact of our diversity and inclusion efforts to create an inclusive workplace experience that empowers our employees to change the world.”

Booz Allen supports organizations that are working to advance racial and social equity. As part of this commitment, in February, Vice President Patricia Porter, who leads Booz Allen’s talent acquisition team, joined speakers like former UN Ambassador Samantha Powers and former presidential advisor Valerie Jarrett for the Georgetown University OWN IT Summit, which aims to bridge the gap between aspiring and established women leaders.

Porter’s panel discussion explored ways to change workplace culture, as well how women can use their own voices and make meaningful connections to advance their personal and professional goals.
