Transportation Research Center Inc. (TRC) is the largest independent vehicle test facility and proving grounds in the U.S., with more than 4,500 acres of secure roads, trails, test areas and state-of-the-art facilities, operating 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
Strategically located in East Liberty, Ohio, TRC is a one-stop source for engineering services, research and development, validation, and compliance and certification testing for clients from all over the world. TRC is home to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Vehicle Research and Test Center, its only test facility located on proving grounds.
TRC is also closely aligned with The Ohio State University’s world-renowned Center for Automotive Research.
