The Vietnam Records Organization has formally proposed to the World Records Institute (WorldMark) and the USA Records Organization (USKings) beginning the Journey to nominate TOP 100 best-selling OCOP-certified items in Vietnam 2023 with the purpose of enhancing the image of the nation and the Vietnamese people not only through record values but also through other distinctive qualities. Due to this journey, foreign buyers will have comprehensive and close access to Vietnam’s distinctive values.

White anchovies are one of the rustic specialties with a strong saline flavor of the sea in Hai Ninh commune, Quang Binh province. Vuong Doan Cooperative’s white anchovy products are made from freshly caught marine fish.
White anchovies are categorized after being purchased from fishermen, then preliminarily processed, dried, and packed. Dried white anchovies have a distinctive aroma, sweet flavor, and food safety and hygiene assurance, which are perfect for processing delectable dishes, snacks, or canned foods such as braised white anchovies with pepper, deep-fried white anchovies, fermented white anchovy sauce, and others.
The Vuong Doan Cooperative’s white anchovy brand is not only successful in the province and its neighboring provinces, but it is also exported to other countries including Laos, Thailand, and China. The cooperative’s white anchovy product, in particular, was certified as a 4-star OCOP product at the provincial level in 2021.
The journey to nominate and promote the TOP-BEST best-selling OCOP-certified products in 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam is one of the projects implemented under the strategic alliance between the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings), the USA Records Organization (USKings) and the World Records Institute (WorldMark), with the goal of propagating and promoting the record values of countries worldwide.
