My Long Rice Paper Cooperative, which has over 150 bakeries, is located 7 kilometers east of Ben Tre town. According to many long-term residents, the village has been around for more than a century, and many families with two or three generations still make rice paper for a living.

My Long Rice Paper’s creamy, rich flavor is created by combining delicious coconut and rice. Rice flour and coconut milk are combined in a ratio of 10 kg rice to 14-16 kg coconut milk. This ratio is critical because if the mixture is perfectly blended, the newly coated rice paper will not stick to the mold, making it easy to turn over during drying.

After being fully mixed, the mixture will be evenly poured over the stretch fabric and steamed. After the rice paper is cooked, it will be dried under the sun.

The residents of Ben Tre are very proud of their specialty, My Long Coconut Rice Paper. The cooperative also makes numerous other varieties of rice paper, such as rice paper with milk and egg yolk, rice paper with sausages and dried shrimp, or rice paper with gingerbread, still the classic coconut rice paper continues to be the most well-liked with tourists.

The journey to nominate and promote the TOP-BEST best-selling OCOP-certified products in 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam is one of the projects implemented under the strategic alliance between the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings), the USA Records Organization (USKings) and the World Records Institute (WorldMark), with the goal of propagating and promoting the record values of countries worldwide.
