Located in the San Juan National Forest in Colorado, the cabin sits 55 feet (and 70 steps) above a meadow at an elevation of almost 10,000 feet. Inside are the original furniture and ranger logbook, along with propane-powered heating, lighting, refrigerator and oven.  The tower is available from late May to mid-October.

With names like “Temple of the Blue Moon,” each treehouse is an architectural wonder, offering guests an oasis with hand-hewn beds and relaxing forest views. The Main Lodge and Pond Room also provide plenty of space for larger groups. This rustic retreat provides massages and yoga classes for guests to enjoy as well. Guests should note that the treehouses do not have bathrooms; shared private bathrooms are located on the ground level, complete with a shower, toilet, sink, and toiletries.

Established in 2006 in Fall City, Washington, TreeHouse Point is Pete and Judy Nelson’s flagship overnight retreat and event center. Nestled in an old-growth forest of Douglas fir, spruce, cedar, and hemlock one half-hour east of Seattle and just minutes from the world-renowned Snoqualmie Falls, TreeHouse Point exemplifies the breathtaking natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The verdant grounds are home to 7 iconic treehouses, a central lodge, a multipurpose event space, and two cedar-lined bathhouses. TreeHouse Point also offers guided tours and hosts weddings and elopements year-round.
