Taos is considered one of the most mystical places on the planet and at 7,000 ft. altitude the starry skies alone deliver that feeling. Hotel Luna Mystica currently has 13 vintage trailers dotting 12 acres at the feet of the Taos Mountains.

Each trailer has been designed by local artists, with one 1962 Airstream, “Ralphie”, even featuring interior plaster normally reserved for the area’s famous adobe homes.

Each trailer is equipped with its own deck, bathroom, comfortable bed, and kitchen facilities. Each is unique as they’ve retained its vintage soul while applying modern amenities. Tent sites are also available, as well as primitive RV spaces without hookups.

The 22 trailers at Hotel Luna Mystica—each unique, whimsical, and aesthetically astute—are heated and insulated, making for cozy weekend reading or as a base to hit the nearby ski slopes. “I like creating environments for people where they can have a good time and make memories,” says Nechvatal.
