During the first day of "The Mashable Show" — an exclusive 90-minute Twitter livestream – Ben Leventhal, Co-founder of the restaurant reservation mobile app Resy, stepped up to attempt the Tallest stack of tortillas.

Ben had the pressure of beating 2010 record holder Richard Godfrey (UK), who set the standard at 1 foot 10 inches (58 centimeters).

Undaunted, he started off strong with a meticulous balancing technique, as a supportive crowd chanted, "stack, stack, stack" in the background.

The event took place at The Mashable House, with adjudicator Casey DeSantis present to ensure guidelines were followed.

Within minutes, Ben had made history in front of a live Twitter audience by assembling a final height of 22.85 inches (58.03 cm), just over the former title.
