The Guinness World Records world record for the Longest golf putt in a major tournament is 33.5 m 110 ft by Jack Nicklaus (USA) in the 1964 Tournament of Champions; and Nick Price (Zimbabwe) in the 1992 United States PGA.

     Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most golf putts holed in eight hours by a team; it is 757 and was achieved by HSBC, in Singapore, on 28 February 2016. 

    Stanford broke the world record held by Fergus Muir, a Scotsman who in 2001 drained a 125-yarder at the St. Andrews Eden Course with a hickory-shafted putter.

    Brett Stanford had to take a three-quarter length swing in order to hit the ball far enough to find the bottom of the cup and all the action was caught on camera
