Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest QR code: it measured 16.81 m² (180.94 ft²) and was achieved by Fiera Bolzano Spa (Italy), in Bolzano, Italy.

The Yoda was there to serve two purposes: make another small contribution to erasing the memory of the “Star Wars Christmas Special” from our collective national consciousness and advertise LegoSantaYoda.com, a holiday website where people can create e-greeting cards to send to their friends and family.
For each card sent out through the site, Lego will donate one new Lego toy to the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys For Tots program.
