In just 10 minutes, the San Jose, California, resident ate 70 hot dogs and buns, beating Mattie Stone by 17 hot dogs and buns. His 70 dogs were the most ever downed during a competition,The Associated Press reports, and the 32-year-old set the last world record in 2013 by eating 69 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. Chestnut had won eight competitions in a row before Stone defeated him in last year's Mustard Yellow International Belt.
