Castle Noel was founded back in 2013 by Mark Klaus (yes, that is his real name!) in Medina, Ohio. This abandoned church was transformed into a nostalgia-inducing Christmas explosion of a museum.

Mr. Klaus himself is a real-life Santa, with his jolly expression and long white beard. His love for the holiday stems from his own childhood; he claims that his father was exactly like Clark Griswold when it came to Christmas.

Castle Noel features so many wonderful things to see and do. Housing the world’s largest privately owned collection of Hollywood Christmas movie props and costumes from your favorite Christmas movies including “The Grinch”, “Elf”; “Santa Claus The Movie”, “Fred Claus”, “The Santa Clause 1, 2 & 3”, “Jingle All The Way”, “Christmas Carol”, “Deck the Halls”,etc.

On top of all that, the Castle has Blizzard Vortex, Santa’s Chimney Squeeze and a 25’ tall animated Christmas tree. It snows inside and you can even ride a slide, just like Ralphie did in “A Christmas Story” (guests over 80 years old who ride the slide become a part of their “Wall of Fame.” To date, their oldest slide rider was 101 1/2 years old).

Castle Noel gives tours of the whole 40,000 square foot complex (each tour lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours), and offers optional mini golf, “Elf Labs” fun with Santa (you get to meet the big guy, too!), Crafts with Mrs. Claus, and other activities to get or keep you in the Christmas spirit.
