Bullseye! Watch 'Human Arrow' stuntman tear through a target as he soars over China's Great Wall in his wingsuit

A video showed American base jumper Jeb Corliss jumping from a helicopter at 6000 feet, flying through the air at 120mph and soaring through the white canvas with impeccable precision. 

Corliss, who said he felt 'great' and 'relieved' to have successfully performed the stunt on Sunday morning, revealed he had been planning the project for a decade.

The clip starts with the 40-year-old leaping from the helicopter that is filmed from a GoPro camera attached to the wings of his black suit.

He glides over panoramic green hills with ease and even flies around a second wingsuit stuntman nearby.
 

A white flag can be seen stretched out between two poles planted ahead of him. 

Cameras mounted on the poles capture the moment Corliss tears the canvas as he soars head-first through the target with stunning accuracy.

He told the Associated Press in Beijing following his stunt: 'At the end of the day, you know, I like to try do stuff for other people. 

'It is not just about me, I want other people to be entertained, I want other people to have fun and I want other people to be inspired. 

'And I want people to know that, hey, if you have dream, you know, you might have to work hard for it, it might take you 10 years to do it, but just don't give up, you know, just keep pushing towards your dream, and if you work hard enough, and you have enough people behind you, it will come true, you will make it happen.'

He added: 'I feel great. This is a project about 10 years in the making, it is something I have been dreaming about for a long time. Doing a project over something like the Great Wall, which is symbol of a nation, is amazing.

The fearless daredevil admitted that he found the challenge 'super hard', considering he had jumped from over a mile away, and was striking such a small target.

'It's amazing to do something over a historic monument like this. And to be able to do something that involves so much precision, you know, to strike an apple size target with something the size of a GoPro, it's really challenging, especially when you are jumping from over a mile away, and with the wind conditions that we had, it was super hard.

'But, you know, we did it and I feel really, really relieved that we were able to do it, you know, because it was hard, it was super hard.'
